Letterman's attempted humor aside, I can't figure out this preoccupation of the Left with Sarah Palin.  She is old news at best, yet the Liberal media and entertainment establishment seems to delight in continued character assassination of her and her family.  Deep down, the Left must feel she is more dangerous to their agenda than they let on.  Could it be that they feel the need to destroy any possibility of her running against them in the future?  What kind of people would also destroy someone's family to achieve that goal?

Governor Palin is not the only target of Leftist venom.  The Liberal media is full of people who spend their air time being smarmy about their President and name calling anyone who dares to question his administration.  This past week for example, I've heard other Conservatives described as "scumbags", "hate mongers", "anti-Semites" and "racists".  It always amazes me how the most liberal among us, are the least tolerant of other views and opinions.

This week they've even tried to blame unfortunate shooting incidents on that "crazy Conservative talk" you hear everywhere.  Do I need to point out that at least one person thought the Beatles were telling him to start a race war in Los Angeles during the 60's?  Yet no one blamed John or Paul for the deranged actions of Charles Manson.  Note to Liberals:  The responsibility for crazy behavior by an individual lies within that individual, not with your opposition expressing their political opinions or freedom of speech.  People are responsible for their own actions and lousy decisions.  Get used to it, it's never going to change.

I heard someone say recently:  "How can Liberals sit down and negotiate with our international enemies, when they can't even intelligently discuss political differences with other Americans?"  I often wonder about that as I hear Liberal media hosts resort to shouting and insults when faced with honest, legitimate criticisms of policies currently being forced on the American public.  I can't see Ahmadinejad responding well to that kind of treatment, and you probably shouldn't make nasty jokes about his kids either.

outhousemouse   |96.15.213.200 |06-16-2009 04:10:01 Just look at who the left attacks and you will see who they fear the most , talk radio, Limbaugh Palin, Hanity, Savage, etc. They did not attack John McCain when he ran for president, when they could have had a field day with his wife's drug problems. They sought to Attack Palin, and her family, Where were our own people in her defense, even McCain would not and still will defend her. No politicians family should be vilified by the media just because who their parents are. If any of us were held accountable for what our teenage and adult children do (even when they have been raised properly) all of us would be in deep trouble. Yet it seems the liberals kids get a pass and the conservative's kids get vilified. Whether she would make a good candidate or if elected would make a good president or vice president I do not know but she is the only conservative that we have that is able to draw the crowds. She can as one radio host said draw 20,000 people just to hear her read a cookbook. We need people like that to get our message across, When the Gallup poll said 40 percent of americans identify as conservative, twice as many as identify with liberals why are the republicans afraid to attack Obama and his policies, some of them would rather attack Palin and her conservative philosophy. Yet they all want to call themselves conservative. It is time we as voters took the bull by the horns and defend those that voice our philosophy and vote out those that run as conservatives and govern as liberals. They are just like a one eyed pig when they get headed in the wrong direction they do not know how to turn the other way and we must keep them on the right path or let them stay home. The mess we are in now is only our own fault and it will not get corrected without us taking action on our own. Reply 0   0
